It felt very anticlimactic compared to the other seasons and there were parts of the story that deserved more attention. The Legend of Korra's fourth book had a lot of great things going for it and it would have been much better if this wasn't the last season. When she did, she decided to keep the portals open, allowing humans and spirits to live among each other once more. With Vaatu returning and teaming up with Unalaq, Korra had to defeat them. After obtaining all four elements and teaming up with Raava, the light spirit, to defeat Vaatu, Wan became the Avatar and was reincarnated many times to protect both worlds, until eventually Korra was born. However, they couldn't accept each other and he had to watch as his loved ones began fighting. After regretting her actions, she was attacked by a spirit and in order to heal, needed to learn about the original Avatar, Wan.īack when humans and spirits lived with each other, Wan learned to live with both of them. She even hesitated to help her home when the Northern and Southern Water Tribes began to fight each other. ![]() Little did she know that Unalaq had much more sinister intentions and was simply using her in order to join forces with Vaatu, the dark spirit. ![]() During their travels, she learned dark secrets about her family, causing her to stop trusting those that were always there for her. When she met with Unalaq, her uncle, and felt that she could learn a lot from him, she helped him open up the portals to the Spirit World. Growing up, Korra didn't know a lot of secrets about her family.
